Bryant Amundson
CEO
Bryant Amundson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Nautical Bowls, but first and foremost, he’s a husband, dad, and family guy. What started as one small store has now grown to locations across the country – something he’s incredibly proud of, but even more so because it’s allowed him to build a business rooted in purpose and values.
Bryant leads with passion, faith, and a deep commitment to keeping Jesus at the center of everything he does – both at work and at home. He’s surrounded himself with an amazing team of franchise pros and business leaders, but his biggest joy comes from quality time with his family, and living life to the fullest. For Bryant, success isn’t just about growth – it’s about impact, relationships, and staying grounded in what matters most.
Bryant & Rachel Amundson
Co-Founders
We (Bryant & Rachel) started Nautical Bowls in May of 2018 at 24 years old. At the time, life was already full—we had a new house, two golden retrievers, and a baby boy due right after we opened our doors. We tend to live by a simple motto: “the crazier, the better—do it all at once!” And we believe in having a LOT of fun while we do it.
We started Nautical Bowls because we wanted freedom with our family while also making a meaningful impact on others. We’ve built this business on the most solid foundation—with the greatest Captain—and we can’t wait to see all that God has in store for Nautical Bowls. We chose to put Ephesians 3:20 on every mural in every location because we truly have our arms wide open to whatever the Lord wants to do. As we know, it’s far greater than anything we could ever imagine or accomplish on our own. Our prayer is that every guest who walks through our doors experiences the abundant JOY of the Lord.
We have four wildly incredible kids who are our whole world and along for the ride—Oliver, Raelyn, Sunny, and Ronnie (and yes… we’d love three more). While Bryant stays focused on the day-to-day as CEO of Nautical Bowls, Rachel is fully present with our kids and homeschools them. She’s also deeply involved in the big picture—menu, branding, design, and marketing, to name a few. We feel incredibly blessed to run a business while also being intentional and present in our home.
