IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • We don’t want to overwhelm your guest base. You may think, the more messages the better—but we want to avoid prompting guests from unsubscribing due to getting overpopulated with content.
  • This feature is designed to stay top of mind with your guests, not every message needs to include some sort of reward or promo.
  • Not every message needs to be sent to your full guest base. (You can have a message send to your top spenders, or guests who haven’t come in for a while)
  • MESSAGE TYPES
  • Push: On-screen notification
  • Pull: In-app message
  • Sms: Standard text message (~160 characters | 25 or less words)
